huh.....well I could have sworn somebody would have said something about the S&M Ball, or at least the fact that I cut 8 inches off my hair (trust me, that's a big deal for me). meh, oh well.

Had an interesting weekend. ON saturday, I went to the HPEP S&M Ball X. Alot of tits and ass. THe coolest part that made the whole thing worth the money and time was the suspension exhibition. Apparantly it's a group of suspensionists that like to do performance art. It started out kinda lame, with some dude sticking a giant needle through his cheeks (face, not ass). But then they got in to the good shit. They had the standard suspension, with the hooks all the way down the back and legs, you end up being suspended face down. This one dude not only did that, but had another guy and some weights hanging off of him. His stomack looked like stretched rubber. There were also thiese two guys who did the whole meathooks along the shoulderblades thing. They were connected to this beam and swung each other around using their own weight. Really theatrical stuff. OF course their were the other s&m stuff, like whips and cages and cuttings. LOts of corsets everywhere ( on women AND men). The vendors had some awesome stuff, some really cool clothes and leather asseseries.( me no rite gud inglis).  It was alot of fun. I plan on going back again next year.

My friend is playing in guitar center's guitarmageadon contest on tuesday, I'm fairly sure he'll win, he's fucking good, and the only real competition he has is his own students. One of his students played last week, and won that one, which is pretty cool since the kid is only 15 years old and he was playing against a lot of older dudes. They'll compeat against each other in a couple of weeks.I'm almost rooting for the fifteen year old.

On a sorta sad note I cut about eight inches off my hair. I almost cried. I haven't had my hair this short since Highschool. I guess it;s still really long, but now it's a normal long, not the kind that people come up to you to say something about. IT started out half way down my ass, now it's at or around my belt line. I guess it needed it, because my hair is looking a whole lot healthier, but it's still sad, it took me forever to get it that long. sigh.

SO....I'm back. It's been a while.NOt a whole lot has happenned. I'v seen Opeth, ummmm......., let's leave it at that. Saw Hypocrisy too, twice. THat was bad ass. Hehe.. and i got to see snow for the first time in my life. IT was fucking awesome. Me and Jaime threw snowballs at each other, and Jamie made a snow angel on the hot tub cover. ( thought she was going to fall through and land in the cold ass water.) OH, and I saw Yngwie Malmsteen on Friday. Man that was one of the coolest shows I've been to recently. THere were like three songs played in about two hours. THe rest was just showing off by Yngwie, The keyboardist and Drummer. Fucking-A it was cool. FUcking Yngwie did all the cool guitarist tricks and even some I've never seen before (i.e. playing by rubbing the guitar on his ass, and it still sounded good). IT was a great fucking night. I've never actually witnessed first hand a singer grabbing his balls and going for the high note, untill friday. It was fuckin awesome. MY only complant is the fact that I couldn't hear the keyboardist unless he was doin a solo or duet with Malmsteen. I'd look over and see him doing this really cool stuff, but I couldn't hear a fucking note of it. THe drummer fucking rocks too. George Lynch Opened up the show. Man, it was fun singing Tooth and Nail with Jamie and a bunch of 16 year olds. I think I've decided to go to the Prog/Power Fest, Adagio is playing, so I have to go. IN case your curious the other bands in the line up are Kamelot, Edguy, Brainstorm, Tad Morose, Dreamscape, Into Eternity, Wuthering Heights, Pain of Salvation, and members of Savatage. Tickets go on sale May 1st. Not that I think anybody but me and my friends would travel all the way to Atlanta to see this show.

Got just a little wasted last night, and by a little, I mean a lot. Never again will I go a whole day without eating, and then try to drink Jack straight. It just doesn't sit right in the stomach.

That's about all i got, my fucking piano class rules, And the bitch at my work finally quit. Things are going well. Untill next time.

School, for once, is going really well. (except for the ridiculously expensive art supplies and books) My art classes are , as always, enjoyable. And that piano class that I was apprehensive about is, well, way to easy. Most of the material, I've already covered on my own. Talk about a blow off semester.  fuckin sweet. next big show is Hypocrisy with Exhumed and Vile. (everyone else might call it the cannible corpse show, but they can lick ass.) Everyones all up and ready for Opeth and moonspell, i just can't convince myself to get excited (blasphomy, you say?) Yeah, and it's rumored that Satyricon might not tour here. Dammit, and I was ready for that one. OH, yeah, and Helloween was cool,........... expensive,... but cool. For some reason the club made my friends band sound supper shitty, the sound dude didnt know what he was doin'. Some freaky old lesbian chick in vinyl was hittin on Jamie and me, really blatantly too, and i think vinyl should definatly have an age and weight limit to it. WAAAYYY to many fat old chicks in shiny pants. My very soul withered just a little that night. One was in maroon vinyll, she looked like stuffed sausage. shit, I dont think I could ever wear vinyl, even if I was a skinny bitch. gross. mabye that should be left to porn stars and gay dudes. well, enough of that, back to my cheesy ass power metal on internet radio. ( and i mean CHEEZY!!! the last three songs has had at least one reference to a warior of some kind in the tittle, and two of them involve steel, or something like it.)

Damn, supposedly Bodom's comin back through with Iced Earth (and ripper) in may. And Satyricon is comin in April. Exciting. And, I'm off to see some friends of mine open up for Helloween on Thursday. Incidentally, those same friends are scheduled to open up the Bodom show in may. Lucky bastards. Jamie and I are contemplating either traveling to MAryland for the Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles festival or going to Prog/Power Fest in Georgia. I just know that Gravedigger is playin the BWBK festival. I plum forgot who else. I don't know If I want to travel to PRog/power  without finding out whose there. I know Nightwish played the last one, as did Sonata Arctica. I'm not a big NIghtwish fan. Actually I';m not really a fan of female vocals in general. Discounting of course the growlers and screeamers. I guess the only tolerable one is KIm from Sinergy. I think all those gay opera vocals in certain black metal kinda killed all chick vocalists for me.

So, I saw Big Fish last night ( hehe...with my cute bass player). The only word I could use to describe this movie, I guess, would be Charming. Nothing more, nothing less. Something I think I'd like to take my mom and my sister to. afterwards we went home and spent the next three hours playing some first person shootem-up game. (damn did I get my ass beat on that one) and Prince of Persia. Jesus christ are those graphics fucking killer. I"m beginning to think I need an Xbox.

So, I THINK my cute bass player digs me, but i can't tell cuz he's to shy to do anything. I'm seriousl;y tempted to make a move on him, but I just dont' think my pride will let me.

I start my piano classes tomorrow. I'm kindof aprehensive about it.
